I really like your scene selections, especially the side of the sign with the bulb-light border.
I don't know if it was my streaming speed or not but the out-of-focus to in-focus transitions were too long for me. Also, it seemed like the same effect over and over, this combined with the speed of the effect made it seem like "Okay, okay... just focus already!" to me.
I think going in-focus to out-of-focus, I saw once, if used throughout, as well as the other way, would have given a better feel to the piece. (I guess you could edit it to do that...) You know, out-of to in, in to out, out to in, in to out, over and over until the end that goes out.
This would give it a flow of coming into view of new sights and using the out-of-focus as the transition point to the new sights (kind of like going in and out of consciousness). Now, I'm giving these notes having only seen and not heard this video (as I don't have my speakers or headphones in right now) but that's my fist impression seeing it muted. (assuming there's sound)
