The technique here is ultra simple. Just take constant pictures with the dslr and color-correct it in AE.

I like this very much. Just a note of constructive critisism - the puppy and little girl seemed out of place in the otherwise surreal and otherworldly effects.

thanks for the feedback. to me this piece is about days that feel like memories as they're happening, which is why I liked those moments. thanks for liking it!

    W O W . . .
    That is sweet sir.
Did you do anything in particular with the shot of you(?) walking the street from 00:06? It seems like your walking through a set piece where people live. I've never seen that expressed so clearly before..

Brother, I'm blessed and inspired by this video :) truly I am. I'm into both photography and cinematography. Just finish a music video, took about 2 yrs to complete. but I'm gearing toward more stuff like this. do you animate in photoshop ? and bring them into after effects, you mind emailing me the steps.. pictureyou2@gmail.com
I would like to give this a shot. I'm inspired brother very cinematic thought provoking.

It's funny, I've been running around with a rebel for a while now, and I think I've always wanted to make something like this, but they have never turned out.

    Deeply inspiring.

And, since I'll probably be buying the new 500D (Rebel T1i) with HD video...

    Love it, man.
