This is a collaborative project of 3 artists, 1 animator, and 1 tech artist to produce three cinematic quality talking heads in a real-time environment.
Each artist modeled, sculpted, and textured each of their respective heads. The animator work on the base animations to carry over to each head, and then used an off-set rig to tweak the resulting animation. The tech artist created the Morph and Joint rigs that could share Animation between heads, as well as scripting the seamless head swapping process. The tech artist was also responsible for animation pipeline into UDK, and the accessory rigs and simulation.
Teamtastic is proud to present this project. We overcame the challenge of taking this from concept art to in-engine animation in about a month working alongside each other to see it to finish.
