10 years ago I made a local skate video called "City Without Spots" that brought together our scene and ultimately was the catalyst that opened Homebase's doors. It was the 1st video any of the skaters from this area ever had the chance to part of. All the filming, the trips and the process that goes into creating a skate video is what brought us all together and why they are to this day a part of Homebase.
10 years later, Homebase is thriving and there is a new generation coming up and we are starting to gather footage for video #6. We'd like any skaters in Allentown, Easton, Bethlehem and beyond who support Homebase to be a part of this next video project. It's not solely about how good the tricks are or if they're filmed HD or not.
It's about being a part of your scene, seeing your homies on the screen skating your spots. The original motivation behind "City Without Spots" was to give the skaters- my friends, something to remember skateboarding by when we're all too old and broken to keep doing it.
That's still the motivation behind video #6.
Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate our 10th Anniversary with us.
