This video evolved on Sunday April 19th as I drove 400 miles in a big loop from Fort Stockton, Marathon, Study Butte, Presidio, Marfa, Valentine, and back to Fort Stockton.
A March piano improvisation is the backdrop for the Rio Grande, Mexican mountains, the high cliffs of Big Hill which tower 600 feet above the water below, traffic and horses in the highlands around Marfa, and the incongruous Prada Marfa art installation.
