Different trip this year, we had to work at it. After the first two days, there were no baitfish to be had. Flyfishing is much easier when the guide can chum fish to the surface with sardinas. Good casting and determination prevailed for me though. Had to run the 23lb Jack Travelle battle on 7x, tough little devils. I had picked him up sightfished at 60' with a pack of his brothers and fast-stripped to create a Jack attack!
It was a wonderful trip organized by Jay Murakoshi. Right on, will be back next year.
