While in high school, I spent some time working with Dr. David O. Carter at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln to create an educational video/teaching aid/presentational video for a process he developed to detect gravesoils (soil were dead bodies have been decomposing) using ninhydrin. Ninhydrin is a chemical available in all criminal forensics laboratories as it is most commonly used to detect finger prints on non-thermal paper.

The video is used by Dr. Carter in his university class, in his presentations, and has been shown in high schools and middle schools.
