Really nice looking. Love how the original image is totally lost but creates something new and interesting.

Yep it's video footage of a turning object. Each frame is looking at one pixel row over the duration of the footage. I like to think that it's the world you'd see if you couldn't perceive 3D.

yes. I wrote a program that allows for slit-scanning video in processing. It's the best sand box you'll ever play in.

Wonderful. This video inspired me to get off my butt and learn to use processing. Well, actually I was still sitting down, but I did it. :)

I've always wanted to try this slitscan effect - and now I have my own tool to do so. Here are the results of my first experiments: vimeo.com/1398634
