Two of the nation’s most popular yoga teachers, Colleen Saidman Yee and Rodney Yee, return to Omega to offer an exquisite blend of a masculine and a feminine interpretation of yoga for all levels of yoga practitioners.

Masculine energy is typified as being more gross, while feminine energy is typified as more subtle. In this workshop, we move from vinyasa (linking movement with breath) to integrated alignment; from chanting to silence; from pranayama (breath exercises) to pratyahara (withdrawal of the senses toward the self); and from philosophy to meditation, creating a profound experience of movement from the gross to the subtle.

This expertly-guided practice enables us to refine our attention and begin to dissolve the illusion of the boundary between male and female and between us and the world. As a result, we move in the direction of joyful, selfless service in all of our relationships, beginning with our relationship to self.
