A year ago I did the same event in Greenville vimeo.com/951805 .
This time I shoot with 5D Canon Mark II using Nikon manual lens 85 mm. F1,8 and lovely 180 mm. F 2,8 lens. As you see, these lens did pretty good job with DOF ... almost like EX1 with Letus....?
WB - was auto and ISO- 100.

Great images and spot on exposure - what time of day were you shooting? It looks like pretty strong sun. You've retained a amazing balance between light and shadow. Does the 5D really have such impressive latitude?

How are Nikon lenses on a Canon working out? Any problems?

yes , it was very sunny and hot...! I put two filter on lens to keep F stop more close..., I think that Nikon prime lens work just like on Letus was...., no problem with Canon, much more control ,of course... but I notice that the 5D response differently for different lens....a specially with ISO settings, 180mm always will keep ISO 100 steady and shutter speed as well, but I do have Nikon 300mm. F 2,8 - when again something different will go on...

Wow ... I am impressed !!! What a difference, comparing to the camera, you could use one year ago. Amazing quality. Didn't expect, that the Canon does such a good job as actually being "just" a digital camera ( from the movie quality ). The advantage is indeed, that you don't need any 35mm-adapter anymore, having a free choice of lenses. Thanks for sharing ... very interesting !!!

Hi congratulations, amazing job. What is the model of the lens adapter that allowed you to use nikon optics?

    Thanks

thank you ! That adapter I got from UK, if I do remember correctly it was from web .site 16:9. net but it took them to ship to me almost three month.... I almost canceled the oder.... I think from BHP you can get a similar adapter.

Hello - This is such a nice video of tai chi in America. (I was actually scheduled to be there, but couldn't attend at the last minute.) I have a site drtaichi.com where we are bringing together a world-wide collection of t'ai chi related experiences - videos, stories, blogs, forums etc. I wonder if you would like to bring this video (and any others that you might have like it) to our site. I'm sure that our members would really love to see it. (This is all free, by the way). Please come check out the site, or email me at ddr@drtaichi.com Thanks! -- David-Dorian Ross
