We shot roughly 1900 frames... the frame rate varies between 12fps, 8fps and 6fps throughout.

Incredible. great flow and nice timing on the clapping.
I would've wanted to see the animation come off the board at one point....to interact with something outside of its "box"...like the tree growing off the board in to a real tree or something...

cool! I tried something similar, but a lot less sophisticated with kids on a primary school. Chalk is just such a great tool to draw!

Awesome.....in addition to the animation leaving the board somehow another cool thing to experiment with might be more interaction between the animation and the actual Chalk board.. e.g the tree growin up to the edge of the board... being limited then spreading through the top of the frame etc.
