2002 Prince Claus laureate and Syrian cartoonist gave a speech at the opening of the exhibition 'Culture in Defiance' at the Prince Claus Fund Gallery on 4 June 2012. Ferzat stressed that the creative dissent in Syria made the revolution a succes.
The exhibition 'Culture in Defiance: Continuing Traditions of Satire, Art and the Struggle for Freedom in Syria' is on show till 23 November 2012 at the Prince Claus Fund Gallery.
