The norwegian Haute Route in Sogn is perfect for skiing in april/may. We joined a group of skiers from the Sognefjord along the Fjærlandsfjord down to the Sogndal Valley. The route takes you from sealevel to 1604 meters above sealevel.

These images of The Cold Route were filmed in april 2009, on our first days of summer. Still we had a couple of places with perfect conditions for backcountry skiing.
