Some of Melbourne’s most highly sought after and in demand food trucks will park at Barkly Square on Saturday to launch an 8 week residency at Barkly Square, Brunswick.

Food Trucks, were invited by Barkly Square to come on board and take residency in the centre car park, where they will create a culinary hub for locals and those who come far and wide.

On Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 June the Truck Stop concept was launched with Dhaba Truck, Gumbo Kitchen, Grill'd, Cornutopia and Big Moose’s serving up tasty meals to the Brunwick locals. Joining them over the launch weekend was the latest mobile coffee offering, Dreux & Ghisallo. Peddlers of fine coffee, the sustainable espresso-tricycle served up roasted coffee and tasty sweet treats all weekend.

“Barkly Square has always been synonymis with food and has a strong sense of community. We like what the food trucks represent and that we, the locals, can come together to enjoy delicious food and treats. We will continue this tradition and are excited to support the food trucks and invite residents, far and wide, to come and get involved”, said Barkly Square Marketing Manager, Frances Dimech.

Food Trucks will include Barkly Square as part of their regular weekly locations over the next 8 weeks, to see who will be onsite please visit the Barkly Square Facebook Page facebook.com/barklysquare
