I discovered this issue when testing the Rokinon 14mm f2.8 lens on a Canon 5dMK3. After some research, it seems it's a documented issue with all Canon cameras that feature liveview. Canon doesn't want to fix this even though it's a simple fix, as demonstrated in the video, it works fine in movie mode. Poor show Canon.
