TRANSCRIPT: Anonymity, at it's core, represents the relationship between writer and reader in an online environment. The Reader-screen is located in a high traffic public setting while the Writer-screen is placed in a secluded area. A subtle black cord is the only visible connection between the two. In order for Users to find both screens the piece must be actively explored. When the User approaches the Writer-screen they must assume a submissive position to enter text without any given instruction. This anonymity allows Writer-Users to publicly display confessions, expletives, dreams, questions, and so on. This simple relationship serves as a template and starting point to deconstruct seemingly complex systems.
