I never even heard of Skynet except in my all time favorite movie The Terminator (All 3 parts). I can't even imagine Skynet even being real. I just hope I live my whole natural human life to the fullest and die of a natural cause before the storm comes. What skynet is doing is very wrong, I mean making robots that can think and learn all on it's own. That's not good. SKYNET STOP, STOP, STOP TRYING TO MAKE ROBOTS THAT CAN THINK AND LEARN AS IF IT'S A HUMAN. YOU NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN!!!!!!!!

blade runner, I am sorry to inform you that skynet is real, just at least not in the capacity as the terminator movies displays it. We don't know whether or not a program has been created or is in testing that has the ability to think for itself at such a degree; but if such a program were wired into the internet during this time period, yes we would have become aware of something if it was advanced as the program in the terminator movies. The program is similar to the program in the movie Eagle Eye. The robot which walks on four legs, I believe is real, although it may still be in the testing phase; I have seen that exact machine on another robotics site as a skynet advertisement, having nothing to do with the terminator. Also, if you have ever watched the history channel, you would have seen the tracked machines which have double cannons(the same machines from t3 rise of the machines). They are real and are in the testing phase. I think the atmosphere of the video is related to the terminator movie, but I also believe that there is truth to the video(after all, it does advertise the four legged machine.) And skynet is a company. The computer program in the movie terminator, is named after skynet. Skynet does exist, just not at the deadly computer program.

There is a real robotics company in Japan named CyberDyne (after CyberDyne Systems in the Terminator movies) that is developing a "Robot Suit HAL". here's the link:cyberdyne.jp/english/robotsuithal/index.html

The lady that talks in this seems to be robotic herself. I am really curious about this. I'm not saying she is exactly a Terminator, but there is really something going on.

Another thing is that when the man asked her a question the lady said that it was CONFIDENTUAL, and that she wasn't supposed to tell anyone. In the future, I believe and this is my opinion, that they're going to make Terminators, join up with Cyberdyne which is actually a real site, and make a whole army or maybe more Terminators. This is quite scary but mysterious at the same time. Reply ASAP!

Thing about it, the lady says "We will not stop...until we change the world...". Think about what she says. Until we change the world, is kind of like saying we will keep finding ways to build Terminators or new robots and we will persevere...

Blade Runner, It's like this...sure this stuff is science fiction. However, even the brightest minds have said that a lot of science fiction will inevitably become science fact. Our military, in fact, have already used the MQ-1 Predator in Iraq, which is an unmanned aerial vehicle. To me it is their version of an HK (Hunter Killer). Especially, the HK at the end of T3. Also, on the History Channel they had a whole show on how they are developing what looks to be their version of the HK tanks complete with cannons and other weaponry. Also, this is a little off the Terminator subject, but do you remember the movie Predator? They are close to being done developing the optical camouflage suit from the movie. It's called "active camouflage" or "adaptive camouflage". It will enable the person in the suit to blend in the surroundings by reflecting the scenery behind them in front of them. Just like Pred'. I mean these things might not look exactly like what's in the movies but trust me they do exist. And they may not be as advanced yet but they are developing this stuff right now...

My friends, I feel torn between the promise of steady work and the perceived evil that is Skynet. Skynet accepted my application for an entry level position in cnc technology with "an inevitable change into robotics"! Is't that exciting? Some say Skynet is getting out of control, but what about the unemloyment rate? I can't feed my 3 kids on this carwash income. I hope no one thinks ill of me as I move into this job with hi pay, bennies, and a sense of pride as I help to create the "machinery that will lead the human race into a brave new world."

i think that this conversation is silly, wether or not this is real it IS HAPPENING in other places. We just need to be care full. and not end up in a "I Robot" world.

Like I said before, Skynet Research is going to create Terminators or some kind of Robot Army that will destroy the world, however, we must be prepared for the end of the world. Unfortunately, there could actually be one person or a group of people that could be the Terminators target, just like in the films, it's John Connor.

If none of you believe that Skynet will create Terminators, well I actually have proof. Go on 'Outreach' and watch the video. It says that if you lose a limb or something, Skynet will get you a metal replacement! Look closely at the animation video on Outreach and you'll see what I'm talking about.

When one considers just a small portion of the amazing technologies that exist in the common markets, one can't help but wonder what is in development or already exists at the classified levels.
