On 7 June 2012, eight community members from across Victoria staged a sit-in at Premier Ted Baillieu's electorate office, protesting his plans to open the state's first ever brown coal export industry and more than TRIPLE Victoria's carbon dioxide emissions.
The community members remained in the office for over 7 hours before peacefully ending the protest, without arrest or charge. Some of the news coverage of the day is captured in this video.
