Fine Threads is a documentary project by teenage South Asian women from Queens, NY. The film follows the lives of Shweta, Humira and Damandeep, as they explore notions of beauty, immigrant ideals, and religion. Through interviews and verite, the young women weave a narrative of coming of age in the city.
