I've listened to Sam Cooke singing this a million times, and I never thought anyone else should even attempt singing it. I don't like Seal's rendition. However, I got to say, THIS video is about as close to Cooke's version as can be. I enjoyed this very much. Good luck to all . Yeah.....It's been a long time coming...

Every time I see and hear the woman from Israel sing I get sick to my stomach thinking about that murderous nation and what it has done to the Middle East. 29 dead from one family! The whole extended family herded into one house and then Israel shelled it, killing innocent women, children and elderly! Destruction of homes, intentional attack on over 60 medical centers, 8 U.N. headquarters, and over 25% women and children killed, the largest percentage of any action in history. If there was a God, it would remove Israel from this sorry world and then we'd need much less "change."

Absolutely amazing! I watched the Stand By Me video three times in a row when I received it and it brought tears to my eyes each time. As a young filmmaker myself with an infatuation for music, this was absolutely brilliant! Your hard work shows and is appreciated!

You are wrong. The easiest way is to blame Israeli. They want to live on their land without fear, that some freak will send the rocket to their day care or school.
Watch yourself and don't judge. Israel will stay because of GOD will.

Listening to this makes me want even more to be a better person. It doesn't matter what other people say in the way of negativity it is about being the change that you want to see.

I wish I was wrong, but I'm not. No change is coming because we're to darn cowardly to force it. I'm from America, the cowardly killers who rationalized killing 650,000 kids under 6 years old in Iraq using sanctions, where Bill Clinton's SOS said, "...we'll just have to live with it..." when asked about those deaths. As for Israel, they don't have any of "their land", it was all stolen from the rightful owners, the Palestinians. And, if you knew the Bible, you'd know that Israel isn't to come into existence until the savior arrives, and he hasn't showed up yet! The "God's will" crap is just that, crap. They have stolen property and continue to steal. They just evicted more families that were there for the past 500 years in order to give the land to Jews imported from overseas! It's the ONLY nation on earth that announced it intended to eventually evict everyone of another religion. The two most evil nations on Earth are the United States and Israel, mostly because they refuse to take ownership of the evil they do and cause. No change is coming. We elected Obama, a black Bush, better educated, a better speaker, who has continued literally every Bush program and practice. No change is coming because Americans are to damn cowardly to actually vote for good! Better vote for the lesser evil than good. It a God exists, it would wipe both these nations from the earth and save mankind. After all, the U.S. produces 25% of all the pollution on earth. Wipe it out and that almost solve global warming by itself, and without the U.S. and it's weapons and money, Israel would collapse. We give Isreal enough money to actually PAVE the damn country in dollar bills! We pay for universal health care fo them but we can't afford it for ourselves. It's insane and it can't continue...but it will, won't it? Evil endures.
