Set in outback Queensland, a fisherman obsessed with the ludicrous tale of the 'Two Spined Blackfish' rarest fish in Southern Oceanic region, leaves his daughter on a mystery island while he nips off for a 'bit of a fish'. Getting drunk, flustered, and day turning to night, he finds claire bloated and caught between muddy reeds, far into the Island he left her.

Years later, with his daughter dead, Roy is stuck in the same damn fish shop. Until a mysterious man in a business suit asks him to go on a fishing trip.

Is it all real? Is this.. purgatory?
