Myths and Metamorphoses presents a menagerie of mythic monsters, hybrid forms, and bodily transformations in a series of video and photographic works that explore the world of Greek mythology. The exhibition comprises of eight photographic collage works and two stop-motion animation films that depict mythic figures and tales of transformation from Ovid’s Metamorphoses. The works were presented as an installation with low focused light and a soundtrack in the space. Myths and Metamorphoses was commissioned by New Moves International
as part of the National Review of Live Art 2009.
