Media Archeology Festival: Liquid Light to the Laptop

This video features excerpts the Media Archeology Festival performances by Joshua Light Show and Silver Apples. And excerpts from a Q&A session with Joshua White speaking about Liquid Light Show's of the 1960s and musician Simeon Coxe (Silver Apples) showing us his oscillators.

Aurora Picture Show, held it's sixth annual Media Archeology Festival on April 17-18, 2009 at the Museum of Fine Arts Houston.

The mission of this festival is to showcase artists who use, manipulate, recycle and reinvent electronic media to create live multidisciplinary performances.

The theme of the 2009 festival was the evolution of live visuals from the psychedelic light show to the real-time visual culture of today.
