This is Oxygen, produced at the Ringling College of Art + Design as my thesis for the department of Computer Animation.

Learn a little bit of basic chemistry while watching Oxygen try to make friends in Element-ary school.

Tom is right on with his comment. I am a teacher and I would love to have more of these short films to show my class for all different elements.

Nice job. I wish we had this video back when I was learning about the periodic table!

My favorite part was when oxygen (slowly) realized his friend Barium was gone. LOL

that was most educative. Too much oxygen would be hard to explain, but the basics are there of common things. Animation was cool.

What program did you use for the animating? Maya? Some of it looks a little 2D also. Did you use the same program and just do everything in house? Or did you do some compositing with an outside program also?
