This is a video of the speech given by Silo (the "Sage of the Andes") on May 4, 1969, in Punta de Vacas, Argentina.

Given in a remote location in the Andes Mountains, yet still under the watchful eye of the military dictatorship then in power, this talk has since inspired the formation of a wide variety of organizations, groups, and expressions, including a new humanist movement of nonviolence, and a spiritual path.
