2. Law And Order: BFD
A video put together by David Rakoff and Dave Hill for our Spring 2009 event, "This American Life -- Live!" - in which Ira Glass hosts an actual episode of the radio program, performed onstage by some of our favorite contributors. Dan Savage, Starlee Kine, and Mike Birbiglia told stories; and for our Chicago show, David Rakoff and Dave Hill conducted this 'special investigation.'

You'll be able to hear the NYC simulcast event as a radio show, made available online here:
thislife.org/Radio_Episode.aspx?episode=379

"Law And Order: BFD" features Jackie Hoffman and Laura Krafft. Written by David Rakoff. Edited and directed by Miles Kahn.

Clever satire. Huge fan of Mr. Rakoff's and a closet fan of some of the Law & Order shows (I'm sorry, but I love Vincent D'onofrio and come on, how can you not like Mariska Hargitay?). Anyway, I thought this was pretty spot on. As always, can't wait to hear David Rakoff's next appearance on This American Life.

Why was this not shown at live broadcast to cinemas? Rakoff and Dave Hill are great, and so are Jackie Hoffman and Laura Krafft. I assume this is the same Miles Kahn who produces field segments for The Daily Show. Awesome guy.
