The guys from kineme.net/ have created a patch for Quartz Composer to send and receive data through the serial port.

You can see how the ball changes position when I send a number from my PC to my mac. And, although you can't see it, I was also sending a random value from my mac to my PC.

At the front are 2 Arduino boards with xbee shields, which are very simple serial modems.

You can start to imagine the possibilities.

Next will be to create a QC show that will react to a Zygote Ball whenever is punched.
