Portraying beauty in everyday objects is a the heart of my work. I achieve this goal using contrast and intense color. Texture is also an important element. I often use gold, silver or copper leaf in my paintings. Adding subtle patterns in the background holds the viewers interest. The combination of all these tend to give my work a formal and often Asian feeling.
