Davey Dance-BLOG. A project started while traveling Europe during Spring 2007. Armed only with an ipod and a Canon PowerShot, Davey picks a location and a pop song. Then Davey records an improvised dance.
*This is the closest we ever came to getting arrested. A security guard in the back tried to stop us from dancing.
Also, this time we shot with an HVX instead of the PowerShot to try out vimeo's HDness

Merry Christmas everyone!
You did not shoot this with a PowerShot
I loathe Mariah Carey's music.
Way too many painful memories.
Uh oh, we have a tech-nazi in our midst.
And this video's awesome.
nice moves!
Whats the world becoming, an 80s Kevin Bacon movie?
Really, really good one, Dave.
That's insane.
Cheers!
And you're right -- this was not shot with a Powershot.
These videos are great. I like trying to follow individuals through the whole thing.
And Amir's staring-out contest with the security guard at the beginning = \m/
Didn't you record him trying to stop you?
Yes, that was a semi-secret compliment.
update after seeing why he was there: AHH! this rocked.
Uno de los mejores que he visto hasta el momento. Felicidades.
Catalan.
Un dels millors que he vist fins ara. Enhorabona.

One thing I would have done differently with the last shot is I would have held it longer to have all the participants fade into the crowd and then the last shot would have been of a normal street crowd - the original canvas in some sense.
Great videos! I'll keep watching and dancing along!
I love the environment.
merry christmas
Also, Davey... the spin at 1:03 was worthy of a pro. You're quite the dancer!
