Davey Dance-BLOG. A project started while traveling Europe during Spring 2007. Armed only with an ipod and a Canon PowerShot, Davey picks a location and a pop song. Then Davey records an improvised dance.

*This is the closest we ever came to getting arrested. A security guard in the back tried to stop us from dancing.
Also, this time we shot with an HVX instead of the PowerShot to try out vimeo's HDness

I like how the tall guy in the grey beanie's ipod is like half a beat out. Give him respect because he's giving it dixie, but you can tell when he's jumping and clapping. I love it.

The Vimeo HD is fantastic - good bandwidth for it this morning in London. It works well on full screen and audio sounds better as well. One thing I would have done differently with the last shot is I would have held it longer to have all the participants fade into the crowd and then the last shot would have been of a normal street crowd - the original canvas in some sense.
