Day at the Park
Went to a couple of different parks yesterday with my kids. Saw it as a good chance to get some footage worth keeping. We all had such a good time just spending time outside in the beautiful weather we're having right now.
All footage is on a 24p timeline, with framerates of 24p and 60p for overcranked slowmo effect.

I've been using MainConcept AVC H.264 encoding, and up to 20Mbps. At first I thought my videos were looking that way because of heavy color grading and Flash not keeping up with it. Now I wonder otherwise.
I'll only drop this name for comparison reason only, but Philip Bloom's videos look amazing ALL the time regardless of color grading or not. If anybody has any suggestions, please let me know.
Im using Sony Vegas 8.0c, (please refrain from making comments about how Vegas isn't up to par with Premiere or FCP) it's fully capable.
Have you tried posting it to YouTube? Do you get the same pixelation problems?
No not yet, but with the Gestapo at YouTube, they would yank the video because *gasp* I used a popular song. I might give it a try just to see.
I don't get it.
#%&* YouTube. I want Vimeo to work good.
The results? Vimeo.......you're breaking my heart. The video looks unbelievably better over there. It makes no sense. Not only is the resolution larger, but it's super clean as well. No hint of pixelation and handles the motion better.
This saddens me.
