This film is the result of a collaboration between Jason Taellious, Richard Thietje, Jim Hill and Meesh Rheault Miller. This project explores the fusion of a new form of performance poetry and experimental film. Contrapuntal language and synchronicity are layered with added strata of visuals, sound and music. The viewer experiences the intention of the words on multiple levels – a sort of ephemeral sound sculpture and visual alchemy the unexpected result of reinventing media.
This is a Poem: SENSE/AntiSENSE is broken into ten “SYNCS” – you may watch the film in its entirety or choose individual syncs to watch one at a time. The entire film (with credits) is around 19 minutes, the individual Syncs are around 2 minutes or less.
