I setup my Canon 20D at the Larch Mountain viewpoint and shot this timelapse footage at 1 shot every 20 seconds. The camera was there for 4 days shooting continuously. If you'd like to see more check out the rest in my video called Discover the Gorge available on DVD at discovergorge.com

Awesome. How did you hide the camera?

I designed a custom box out of PVC lumber and roughed it up and painted it to look like the surroundings and partially buried it in rocks. One of the boxes i designed has a built in windows PC so i could remote in and check on the camera via EVDO card with GPS receiver so if moved i would know.

Wow, that's so cool, great idea with the PC. This looked like just one day - did you edit the 4 days of frames together and then select the day that looked the best?
    Fantastic video!

From those 4 days i have about 10,000 images of either solid black or grey because it was fogged in for a few days this particular week. i have a total of 10 days from up that this spot this one is the most interesting full day. I have some other nighttime stuff that's pretty cool too.
