My first outing with the Flip Ultra HD...the larger form factor of the Flip Ultra, with the hi-def goodness of the Flip Mino HD.

Note that this flick has been downsampled to 960x540. The original video is exceptional. Specs provided by Flip suggest that the Ultra and the Mino use the same lens and image sensor; however, the Ultra has an updated compression engine. I'm eager to do some side-by-side tests and see which of the two comes out on top.

Oh, dear...I also have Kodak's new ZX1.

Well, at least the weather's nice...

    I'm waiting for my flip mino HD to arrive in the post. Looks like a heap of fun and looks a lot better than QIK on my iphone.

    What is the benefit of one of these flip devices over a point and shoot camera? P&Ss do record video, have optical zoom, bigger screens, and bigger sensors.

    Soundtrack is way out of sync - oh, all right, it's about 1/2 second out of sync, which is enough to annoy the poo out of me.
