Korah's Rebellion and the Believer Today Warn Radio Show ID# shabb-062212-korah-rebellion
In the midst of deliverance, there were those who sought to overthrow God's anointed leader Moses. In Korahs Rebellion we find sure and solid evidence of the those people who oppose God's anointed Leadership and the fate they face. In Korahs Rebellion the Theocratic rule under God flow to Moses, then to Aaron, and outward. In this type of rule there are those who as seen in Korahs Rebellion disagreed with it. We find Korahs Rebellion and the company of men who gathered with Korah.
If that were not only the issue, maybe it would be different. Having disagreements occurs, but to the length Korahs Rebelllion took it brought an example to Israel. We find here that Korah and his company as it is referred too all died. We also find following Korahs Rebellion that the remaining Israelites challenged Moses again saying he "had killed Korah and his company." This brought a plague that ended up killing thousands. Moses had Aaron stand in for them before the Lord and the plague was eventually stayed. But here again the whole Issue of Korahs Rebellion tells us the seriousness of what God does through his truly anointed vessels.
The lessons for us in Korahs Rebellion today are numerous. Yet many will not hear, nor will they even see their own actions in somewhat cloudy manner. For the American Churches have not a clue as to the real lessons behind this example of Gods anointed leaders, Gods power displayed, and the ending judgment upon those rebellious. Join us as we walk through the pages of history in Gods Word and find the lessons the Lord would have us learn.
Korahs Rebellion gathers against Moses and Aaron:
Now Korah, the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, and Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, and On, the son of Peleth, sons of Reuben, took men: Num 16:1
And they rose up before Moses, with certain of the children of Israel, two hundred and fifty princes of the assembly, famous in the congregation, men of renown: Num 16:2
And they gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron, and said unto them, Ye take too much upon you, seeing all the congregation are holy, every one of them, and the LORD is among them: wherefore then lift ye up yourselves above the congregation of the LORD? Num 16:3
