The 1988 General Resolution passed at the General Assembly affirmed an individual’s right to determine the course of their own desires at the end of life termed, “The Right to Die with Dignity”. This sermon will explore the 1988 resolution and the complex issues surrounding individuals and families rights to make their own choices when the inevitability of life’s conclusion is at hand.
It is presented by Joe Stone, MDiv, Ministerial Candidate and a member of Jefferson Unitarian works for Compassion & Choices, a National non-profit working to ensure individuals and their families have the legal rights and knowledge to ensure their own destinies at life’s end.
