With its low profile, sleek lines, and striking color, the Remington Streamliner holds a special place in the writer's heart. This piece serves as an homage to the device itself and the dying art of the typewritten essay. Process: digital still photography, super8 film & custom optical effects.

Forgive me for my nosiness, but I'm inspired and intrigued by your work. What kinds of custom optical effects did you use to make this?
  • impactist 2 years ago
We developed custom secondary lens devices for this project. They are one-of-a-kind so we can't point you to any existing device.

reminds me of a bad dream i had. Except it wasnt a type right but a big Green Letter H with a frying pan.
  • impactist 1 year ago
Maybe it was a 'good' dream and the letter 'H' was only trying to "Help".
