Made for The Edinburgh International Film Festival's 52 hour science fiction film competition, where entrants had to be 16-25 years old. Our film had to include a baby bottle and the line "Where did that come from?" Films had to be between 2 to 5 minutes long.
Convicts are taken to newly discovered, Earth-like planets, and used as test subjects for the planets' effects -whether toxic or benign. If a planet is habitable, the prisoner wins his freedom and the planet is prepared for mass colonisation. If the prisoner is killed by some environmental hazard then the planet can be overlooked. Many desperate men have taken their chances and now it's Davy's turn.
This film was made by Christopher Brooks, Aonghus Mitchell, Fraser Fulton and Kit Willmott. It was shot in Inspace at the University of Edinburgh and North Berwick.
