hey nfc, pretty shitty how it happened. i got distracted by some dude on the train and ended up leaving it on there after i got off. when i caught up to it sure enough it was gone. i have floaters insurance too. I called the insurance company and told them exactly how it happened (techincally a theft, but it covers loss too) and they send out a cop to fill out a report. next day, they notify me that they sent out a check for the full price of the camera ($3,399). time between theft and when the check was sent out: 3 days. today is the second day of waiting for it, they said it would be in by next week.
