Hi it’s Mia Redrick, The Mom Strategist sharing with you the Truth About Motherhood. One of the things that I want to talk to you about is moms often say to me that there is no time to Self-Care for themselves at the end of the day. And that’s not true.
So the truth about motherhood is that the challenge is that there’s always time to do something for yourself. The challenge maybe the time of the day that you choosing to do something for you, so you find that the end of the day that’s when you’re most fatigue that’s true for most of us in 9 o’clock then that’s not when you want to consistently find time to do something for you like exercise so if you’re struggling getting on the treadmill you’ll need to do it earlier or maybe write a new journal or read a book something as simple as that. What I wanted to challenge you to do if you’re trying to make self-care a part of your life is you got to do it earlier, okay? You can even do a 15 minutes at the start of your day so you can get up 15 minutes earlier and do something for you, or as a part of your day whether if you’re a stay at home mom, when you put the children down I want you to have overly identified. What you want to do for you and when the children go down for a nap, I want you to begin the first 15 minutes instead of doing dishes and running around and clean and getting dinner ready, I want you to do something for you because what you’ll find is that, that little bit or time will refill you and fill you so that you will do something for yourself in a bigger way and you’ll be able to do more for your family in a full way, you’ll be rested and have more joy.
