From the Imagenex 881L rotary sidescan sonar on Traykovski's Quadpod 20 m north-west of the #4 Red Channel marker.

The brown imagery is from the rotary sidescan. In rotary sidescan data surfaces facing toward the center of the circle have high acoustic backscatter (lighter brown shades) and surface facing away or shadowed areas have lower backscatter (darker brown). This sonar sampled at short (4m) range twice per hour and once at long (15 m) range as can be seen by the more rapidly varying interior image.

The blue arrow represents tidal current magnitude and direction, the green arrow represents wave height and peak direction. The coordinate system is rotated to align with tidal flows with ebb flow in the negative x direction
