This video shows the increase in CDC reported cases of Swine Flu in the US, from 4-22 when no cases had been reported, through 4-26 when the first state-by-state numbers were released, and through 5-4, when 286 total cases had been reported and 7 states had double digit numbers of cases reported.

NOTE: Colors in this video are on a log scale in order to show the breadth of reported cases. This scaling gives more weight to states with fewer cases than does a regular scaling, which may be sensible if we are concerned to with addressing locations where the flu is just starting to appear.
