My father in law was the head chef of the Hilton hotel in Coylumbridge, near Aviemore, in the highlands of Scotland for many years. He and my mother in law visited a few weeks ago and I tested out both my interviewing skills and an affordable wee sennheiser MKE400 dslr mic. The mic is reasonable, my interview leaves a lot to be desired but Andy makes up for it by immediately diving into a fantastic description of his younger days, in LA, on the broadwalks. He describes the incredible Predatory Bird cruiser board (the prototype used in The Lifestyle Promo is his prop) and he considers the current state of skateboarding from his unique point of view. I've never figured out whether he's a wild comic genius or just a mad old chef. I suspect the truth is that he's a combination. Allow me to introduce you to Andy.
