Great Gatsby Ball Summer Gala

Great Gatsby Ball Summer Gala

International Club of DC

http://www.internationalclubdc.com - Members of the International Club of DC enjoyed a 1920s-themed Great Gatsby Ball at the National Museum of Women in the Arts, one of Washington’s most beautiful and exquisite venues. F. Scott Fitzgerald’s novel “The Great Gatsby” characterized the glamor and decadence of the 1920s and the gala presented attendees the opportunity to experience the elegance, splendor, and extravagance of 1920s America as they discovered the secret world of speakeasy. The beautiful National Museum for Women in the Arts wasas reinvented for a night into a page from the F. Scotts Fitzgerald’s novel The Great Gatsby with a Big Band entertaining guests with thrilling 1920s era tunes. Attendees danced the night away on the museum’s marble dance floor and enjoyed a sophisticated evening on the museum’s mezzanine level overlooking the ballroom. Guests also feasted on our Great Gatsby dessert feast with wine and drinks served at the open bar. Our band will played a variety of swing, waltz, tango, and other dance music.
