Sound corridor is a home installation, the concept for this project was influenced from the initial observation of someone leaving their door open when they return home. The original psychology topic of persuasion has been related to the use of negative reinforcement via sound stimuli to address a person’s behavior of not closing the door. This is an attempt to get the person entering the home to make an emotional connection between the sound playing through the hidden speakers when the door is left open, therefore encouraging them to close it.
