I have pictures and more about this relay on my blog:

I am experimenting with the Letus B4 Pro Relay and the Letus Ultimate. I borrowed a Panasonic AG-SPX800p standard definition broadcast ENG camera to run a few tests. I was booked to work a wireless RF camera at a marathon in Providence, Rhode Island and I saw the opportunity to use the camera to test out the new Letus kit. I only had about an hour to play with it.

I mounted the relay with the Ultimate to the 2/3 inch standard bayonet mount and used a set of the Letus stainless steel version 2 rods for support. I operated the entire rig with the help of a Vinten Vision 11 pan head.

I was very impressed with the relay and the Ultimate. It was nice to have a lock on focus and iris at the relay. I could dial in everything and then just worry about controlling focus on the 35mm film lens.

I was surprised at how bad the video was coming off the Panasonic camera. This was the first time I had ever edited standard definition video on my Mac and I think I have been spoiled!
