Wow, an amazing new trailer. I'm liking the (welcome) return of Mimi Chao, is it? Definitely looks another good addition to the serious roster of Wong Fu shorts.

Ending shot was particularly nice. Having the title appear before the umbrella fully covered the light was a great way to lead into the fade to black. Really made an impact.

Definitely upload this on Vimeo! The quality is outstanding and really adds to it in comparison to YouTube.

Awesome work yourself Calvin! I'm liking the color treatment you did.

Most of the shots were done with a Canon 50mm FD Lens

  • Great job Wes. We talked a while back, before I was leaving on Semester at Sea. I'm back now and I must say, I'm impressed by the videos Wong Fu has put out while I was gone. Congrats to you, Phil, and Ted! I'm jealous you guys have such a tight knit team to work on stuff with.

Just saw the trailer and i was amazed and excellent job with the filming and cinematography. I wanted to know what lights did you use in your films and what lens you used to film this? I to am saving up for a 35mm letus extreme lens adapter, I wnat to attach it to the Sony Z7, have you used one of those before?
Thanks mate all help will be much appreciated and
    keep up the good work.

Thank you! Everything outdoors is natural lighting. The indoor stuff was mostly daylight as well. Some house lights here and there finished it off. I've never used a Z7, but I'm sure it'll be a great setup with the letus. Goodluck Khurum!

Hello again wesley, hope your good? still waiting for this film of yours to come out. I wanted to ask you something. I finally managed to buy a sony z7, a letus extreme and a nikkon 85mm f/1.8 lens. But when i film indoors, it is too dark. do you have any clues why this is? and you know the canon fd lens you used to shoot this. was it F/1.4?

any help would be great mate,
    thanks.
