Here's a special song I wrote and then performed at my wedding reception for my wife Katharina. The multi-talented Kestrin Pantera played along on cello. There was no practice beforehand, she just brought it.

...and the best part?

The wedding guests sang along to the last chorus. An amazing moment for all.

The Best Part

We may have once passed each other, in Russell Square
We may have sat beside each other, in the same Metro chair
Thinking: When will this end? When will my life, really begin?
Am I ready to start the next part of my life?

We may have once danced together, under Burning skies
We may have been so close to each other, but not eye to eye
Thinking: When will this end? When will my life, really begin?
‘Cause I’m ready to start the next part of my life

Now we see the same soul, we were longing to share
Now I found my love, you were always right there
Through your eyes I see the world, what a wonderful life
Now we’re walking together, as Husband & Wife
Singing: You are my friend, you are my life, let it begin!

We are ready to start the best part
Ready to start the best part
Ready to start the best part of our life

We are ready to start the best part
Ready to start the best part
Ready to start the best part of our life

The best part of our life
The best part of our life
