Its cool to think that its the earth that's moving and not the sun and moon. It feels different when you watch this great clip with that in mind.
  • dmgreer 2 years ago
Yeah, me too. Sometimes I get a little dizzy looking obliquely at the Sun and thinking about walking on this huge ball spinning beneath it, the surface going about 1000 mph. And then there's that whole Sun thing, think how bright and hot it seems, 93 million miles away, without it there would be no life here.

Beautiful! Well done mate. How did you shoot that? Im guessing you shot the sunset and shot the night scene seperate and forward the play speed as well as mixed both scenes in together and you kept the audio real time?
  • danLinfield 2 years ago
That's one continuous shot. The audio was recorded separately from the same area a few days later.
  • pumatalk 2 years ago
Dan, how long did it take you to film it?
  • danLinfield 2 years ago
I think it was about 6 hours.

That was really nice. I especially liked the outdoor sounds put to it. Were they from that area or were they effects?
  • danLinfield 2 years ago
The audio was recorded separately from the same area a few days later.

I like the scene. It looks more like Venus, not the moon.
