MY STUDENT FILM, 1997 -- A naive bride discovers on her wedding night that the man she married is a vampire, and must fight him off until dawn to save her mortality.
Wedding Night is the first film that I actually made on film. It was shot MOS with the CP16 with a budget of $1,000. The film won Best Short Film at the 1997 Nell Shipman Awards in Boise, ID.
My crew and I were given a crash test workshop on the CP16 by cinematographer David Klein (Clerks, Mallrats, Zack and Miri Make a Porno). The film was shot in a warehouse in Boise, ID, that later became a nightclub owned by Bruce Willis.
