Working alongside Heather Eddington from A State Of Flux dance company we came up with the concept of a process led dance film animation.

Using interviews recorded with the dancers we edited it into a narrative. The accompanying music was then selected to fit the mood of the narrative and the dancers then choreographed their dances. I then filmed them against a blue screen. Using After Effects I combined the footage together and worked on creating an animation to compliment an interact with the dancers, creating visual accompaniments to the narrative.

The piece was then shown as an 8m x 1m back projection. It was also available for installations over a 6 TFT screen set up with the dancers moving from screen to screen.
